THE OPTIFIT 4 HOSEL GUIDE
The new OptiFit 4 adjustable hosel is a multi-cog system that allows adjustments to both loft and lie. The new OptiFit 4 Connect adjustable hosel features
four machined pieces for precise and repeatable loft and lie adjustments. Each rotating cog features 3 settings (+, - and neutral/blank) to create 7 unique loft and lie configurations to help every player truly dial in their hybrids for trajectory and didistance.
Adjusting The Optifit 4 Hosel
Similar to our adjustable drivers and other clubs, insert the OptiFit wrench into the hosel screw and rotate counter-clockwise until the hosel becomes loose, move the rotating cogs to the desired setting, and tighten clockwise until you feel and hear the wrench “click”. If the screw feels like it is binding, stop and realign components.
- “+” will weaken loft OR increase lie angle.
- “-” will strengthen loft OR decrease lie angle.
- “+/-” results in no change to loft or lie
- Blank settings are considered neutral
- Align tick marks on hosel and shaft sleeve.
FOR FITTERS
In the event that a RH shaft is needed for a LH head, the Lie settings will be correct, and the Loft settings will be “Flipped.” The following OptiFit 4 settings will be used ONLY for a RH shaft and a LH head combination:
